Thank you, Jimmy, for your work with us. And thank you for your courage in writing this piece. We are all more than what we do for a living. Supposed security for one group at the expense of another will never bring true security. When has annihilation of one for another ever done that? You are so on the mark with why this situation in particular matters. We do have leverage. While Israel's actions may not stop, none of them should be in our name. We taxpayers need to start using that leverage. Take back the credit card.

Among other things, this thoughtful, heartfelt, and historically skewed “Financially Speaking” comes across as very defensive; I’m trying to figure out why as usually when the best arguments for a circumstance are made they come across confidently. Coming from the People’s Republic of Cambridge, the paranoia of media discrepancy is no surprise, and among other things, I’ll be the one to say, “please stick to finance.”

Jimmy, it is so upsetting to see such an intelligent and good person as you read the facts of history and military necessity so wrong. Thanks for putting these points into words, Jimmy. Well said. To your point about "anti semitism", it is frustrating to see how defenders of Israel fall back on false comparisons of 10/7 to the holocaust, glossing over the history of Israel and its violent founding to silence any criticisms of its continued brutality.
