How can one not be outraged by Trump’s totalitarianism lunacy that’s overtaking America? If you’re not scared, you’re not awake. Perhaps most concerning is the moral cowardice displayed by our so-called business leaders with the most recent example being the well-heeled and powerful law firm, Paul Weiss, bending at the knee to Trump’s crazy demands. But, why pick on them as they’re just one of many?
Our Gestapo at work:
Apparently, her crime was expressing sympathy for Palestinians — I guess an anti-Semitic act by definition.
I don’t have the leverage of the chairman of Paul Weiss or the owner of the Washington Post, but at a minimum, I’d like nothing to do with anyone who has any sympathy for this lunatic and his co-conspirators.
As such, I’d prefer that you didn’t receive my emails anymore so, my ask is that if you’re reading this and you voted for Trump, or have any positive or neutral feelings toward him, please unsubscribe. You can do that below. And, if you’d like to leave me any polite or nasty comments, feel free to do that also.
One last request… if you own a Tesla, I understand how much you may like it but seriously consider selling it. There are other cars out there.
To close, it’s always helpful to think of Martin Niemöller’s wise words:
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a CommunistThen they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a SocialistThen they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionistThen they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a JewThen they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
Thank you for speaking out! I am purposely steering my spending away from any company that supports Trump/MAGA. Also, I am lobbying for everyone to turn out in their cities to protest on April 5. All part of speaking up against the madness.
All that’s missing are Nazi armbands.
Thanks for this Jimmy
